Terms and Conditions

Deposit and Final Payment: A 50% deposit is required before an order is placed into our production schedule. Deposits are non-refundable. Final payment is due prior to delivery, shipment, or release of order. Custom orders are due in full at the time of order. All payments are received and processed at Cobb & Reed, P.O. Box 498, Greenwich, CT 06836. All sales are final.

Pricing: The net pricing of our products are subject to change without prior notice. All products are invoiced at the price that is quoted at the time the order is received. We honor pricing for written quotations for 30 days from the date of quotation regardless of subsequent pricing changes.

Order Verification: In order to ensure order accuracy, we require a client signature on all quotes prior to processing. Please review your quote carefully for accuracy. The details and dimensions in our Order Acknowledgement will be deemed final and will supersede any conflicting details or dimensions contained in a client’s purchase order.

Shipment: Our orders are shipped via common carrier, F.O.B. Greenwich, CT unless otherwise requested by the client. At the time of ordering please determine if this method is suitable and inform us if it is not. All orders are assessed shipping and handling charges.

Damaged or Defective Products: Clients must examine products on receipt and report any damage to Cobb & Reed within 72 hours of receipt. After 72 hours claims for damages will not be honored.

Site Conditions: Cobb & Reed does not accept responsibility or liability for site preparations or conditions, installation or code compliance. It is the responsibility of the client to determine that site conditions are suitable to receive the products ordered. Cobb & Reed is not liable for defective or improper installation work.

Production and Lead Times: Our lead times can vary depending on our production schedule. We can accommodate rush orders and expedite production for an additional service fee. Unless we accept an order for guaranteed expedited production all quoted ship dates are estimates only and subject to change.

Craftsmanship: Our products are hand-made, and we employ only the most highly skilled craftsmen. We believe that the slight imperfections that may occur with a hand-made product are the mark of the craftsman. Occasional variations and inconsistencies should be considered to be a signature of the hands that build our products.
